Friday Friendship

No registration.
No fee.
No pressure.

All are welcome to come together for a community meal at the 6th Ave Community Center, every Friday at 6:30 pm.
The Friday Friendship Dinners began originally as a means to stay in touch with men who had graduated from The Regeneration Center’s program. Former residents could come “home” once a week for a meal, visiting, Bible study and games. Over time, the numbers grew. Men asked to invite their friends. Those friends invited other friends and it became an “open” group. Soon the house was bursting at the seams.

I so enjoy the feeding of our bodies, but I come for the feeding of my soul! – T.A.
How It
Started
For many years now the event has been held at the 6th Avenue Community Center rather than in Dave and Jean’s home. Jean and her volunteer helpers prepare a meal there each Friday. The location has changed, faces and names have changed, but the event remains the same: a meal, visiting, Bible study and games. Friendships are formed, faith is strengthened, needs are shared, and practical help is often given.
